The Secret Garden.

Felix, Mummy and Daddy set off for the Luxembourg Gardens Sunday afternoon, even though it was a somewhat gloomy Parisian day.

But all the flowers were out in fine form so we enjoyed looking at all the birds and bees tasting the delicious flower nectar.

Thanks to Daddy, we discovered a secret corner of the garden where we had never been before.

Gorgeous isn't it !

Apparently it is the park's signature "Fontaine de Medicis" a baroque fountain designed in 1624.

Afterwards we found some trees bearing some funny looking apricots which Felix took an instant liking too.

So despite the greyness the afternoon was pretty interesting with lots of new discoveries for us all!

I recall stumbling accross that place in the Garden's. It was beautiful and magical just like in the pics.

Look at Felix's long legs! xx Aunty C

Did you come across the drowned women statue in that pond which I first took for a stack of white plastic bags? I think the statue is really terrible and ruins a lovely peaceful place.

What a gorgeous secret spot - although Mummy doesn't look terribly impressed :(

(Is that husband of yours taking too long to take the photos again?!)

A great little spot indeed!

But we missed the white plastic bags - we'll have to go back and have a hunt for them!

Yes LWL, Mummy was feeling a bit frumpy that day - how an 8 months preggers mum usually feels and funnily enough Daddy was taking a bit long to take the photos!
