Gouter with Anika.

Sunday afternoon Felix, Mummy and Daddy joined Anika and her parents, not too far away from Versailles, for an afternoon 'gouter'.


Felix was feeling a little under the weather and wasn't quite himself. But once he saw all of Anika's toys he seemed to cheer up.


Isabella and her Mummy and Daddy were there too and for some reason all the little-uns (literally) were drawn to Isabella's Daddy.


A lovely afternoon was had by all!


Alas when we returned home our night was a disaster with a sickly Felix waking up on the hour every hour. Poor Felix, Daddy and Mummy!!

Friends in Boulougne-Billancourt.

Mummy and Felix visited Alexia and her Mummy for a playdate last week (about 5 minutes from where Daddy was born in Boulogne-Billancourt).


Felix had great fun playing with all of Alexia's toys (especially the horsey) and as usual proved what a good apetite he has finishing off most of the fruit and practically all of the gâteaux.


Alexia wasn't quite so sure about this little boy who had invaded her home, eaten all the food and was playing with all her toys. Hmmm.


But she was a very good sharer and very good at teaching us all about french animals.


All-in-all it was a lovely afternoon of indulging in pastries and chatting for the Mummies too!

Ecole Buissonière.

Yesterday Felix and Mummy went to play with Ben and his Mummy at Ecole Buissonière a great play area for kids, where Mummies can enjoy a cup of tea (and stay warm), whilst the kids run around and play together.


Felix eyed off the trampoline first and had some fun trying to get his head around the 'bouncing on a trampoline' idea. (As you can see it was a very serious matter!)


There were some fun things to climb on and everything is nice and vibrantly coloured. And best of all was the super size slippery dip which was great fun for little boys.


Of course Felix (being his father's son), was pretty keen to have a turn on the computers which are especially for the kids.


A great afternoon was had and there seemed to be smiles all round. Am sure there will be a few more trips over the chilly winter months.

Climbing & laughter.

This afternoon, after having finished some shopping in the 6th, Felix and Mummy went to the little park just out the front of Bon Marché, with several fantastic playgrounds. Of course Felix discovered the biggest slide and zipped down on his tummy.

There are lots of things to do in the playground and lots of things to climb. And climb Felix did (as did Mummy's heartbeat). Felix climbed up ...


And he climbed down ...


And then Ben and his Mummy joined us. Felix had an injection of energy and Felix and Ben were best of buddies, running here there and everywhere. They had a great afternoon with lots of laughter and fun.


By the end of the afternoon Felix was exhausted and fell asleep on the bus! Lucky little man.

When Felix was in Mummy's tummy, Mummy used to work with a russian lady called Katia. Katia also had a baby bump and so the two bumps spent a lot of time together (although they probably didn't realise it at the time).


Later that year Felix was born and Alexia arrived six weeks later in January 2005. Alexia has now grown up into a gorgeous little toddler.


Yesterday Alexia & her Mummy came over to have a playdate at Felix's house.


Felix was very happy to share his toys with Alexia, especially his tricycle.


They had great fun riding around the apartment, eating pastries and enjoying toddler-hood. Felix was quite taken by Alexia and really enjoy giving her lots of little kisses as the afternoon progressed.


It was very sweet although by about the 10th bisous Alexia seemed a bit overwhelmed by all the affection by Felix. So Alexia and her Mummy set off home whilst Felix seemed quite chuffed with the days events.


So it seems the twins might just have a run for their money.

Playdate with the twins.

This morning Mummy & Felix invited the twins, Max and Freja and their Mummy Rikki to come over to play at our house. Luckily the sun decided to make another appearance so we spent the morning outside surrounded by the toys, smoothies and sunshine.


It was a nice relaxing morning although Felix wasn't overly keen on sharing his favourite toys ... even with the twins (who happen to share Felix's Daddy's birthday on the 31st December).


The best fun was when the girls came inside with Felix and they all had great fun jumping on the lounge.



Although after all the jumping it was time for Felix to have a quick rest whilst Freja played with his car ...


And then it was time to give the girls big kisses and cuddles goodbye. There certainly were a lot of very looooong smooches and cuddles taking place.
