This morning Felix had another little birthday celebration at the garderie with a chocolate cake that Mummy had baked that morning.
They all sat around the table and had the cake for their morning gouter - a nice change from the usual fruit!
And everyone sang 'Joyeux Anniversaire' to Felix.
Sunday afternoon was Felix's 2nd birthday party with Ben, Iris, Freya, Max-Maia, Olivia, Isabella, Raphael.
Mummy made a chocolate 'Very Hungry Caterpiller Cake' which seemed rather popular with the little-uns.
Everyone played 'Pass the Parcel' and had great fun whilst the parents drank lots champagne.
What a great way to celebrate the 3rd of December 2006.
Happy 2nd Birthday Felix!!
There is nothing like being spoilt on your birthday and Felix certainly had a huge pile of presents to open yesterday morning.
Mummy expected Felix to see them and rip them all open immediately but instead he was quite taken by each gift and wanted to play with each one before opening the next one.
It was very sweet. Thanks to everyone for spoiling young Felix and making his birthday so special!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY FELIX!! As most of you know Felix is TWO today.
Mummy has been up bright and sparkling with the birthday boy baking cakes for his party this afternoon. Stay tuned more to follow!
Felix is a very lucky boy as he has SEVEN grandparents and today is his grandmother Joanne's birthday.

Felix sends lots of bisous from Paris and hopes that you have a lovely day and get really spoilt. Mummy and Daddy wish Joanne a Happy Birthday too (and good luck on those horses in the Melbourne Cup!)
(Actually Mummy's really 34 but she thinks she'll go along with Daddy and Felix on 33.) She was very a very spoilt scorpio this morning and inundated with presents in bed.
Felix gave Mummy all her presents, opened the presents and then promptly took the presents away so Mummy couldn't even see what she had received. One of the presents Felix didn't manage to steal was a brand new lens for her camera which was very exciting.
And of course she had to put it to good use on her favourite subject...
Once or maybe twice ...

Felix wanted to send an extra special "Happy 60th Birthday" message to his Nanny all the way over in Mooloolah Valley in Queensland. Word has travelled that Nanny has had some wonderful festivities, and Mummy and Daddy also had some celebrations for her in Paris overnight too.

Today is Luka's FIRST birthday. Happy 1st Birthday Luka. (For you frenchies, Luka lives in Sydney with his Mummy and Papa and he is a very good friend of Felix's. He's gorgeous isn't he!)
We are going to celebrate Luka's first birthday all day long in Paris today.
Luka, Felix's hopes that your Mummy and Papa spoil you with lots and lots of presents and that you have lots of fun now that you are in the very special 'one year old' club!

This is a special birthday wish for Felix's Nanna Carol in Sydney to say Happy Birthday and we hope you have had a really lovely day. We'll have to keep more of the celebrations for when we return to Sydney for a holiday next February.
Joyeux anniversaire!!!
Today Felix went to Ben's 2nd birthday party. Ben turned the big T-W-O on September 25th, two days before Felix's Sydney Grandma Carol's birthday. It was great to get the little ones together as they have been socialising in the same playgroup since Felix was about 4 months old (Jasmine, Ben, Stuart, Olivia and Felix).
Felix was very excited en route and insisted on carrying the present all the way to Ben's house. Although wasn't so keen to hand it over when we arrived, until the chocolate biscuits & sultanas arrived of course.
Ben's Mummy made a fabulous chocolate bear cake which was delicious and Felix suitably 'pigged out' on gateaux, biscuits and sultanas for most of the afternoon and was not-at-all interested in dinner later on.
At one stage at the party, Mummy discovered Felix and Ben in Ben's room and the birthday boy was reading Felix a story. It was very cute. (And in French Bon Papa!)
Oh to be young again! And Happy Birthday Ben!!
Felix's little buddy Liam celebrated his birthday today and turned one year old. So Felix wanted to wish him a extra special Happy 1st Birthday !
But alas the party was in Centenial Park in beautiful sunny Sydney and so we couldn't quite make it. But everyone seemed to have a good time especially the birthday boy (covered in chocolate) and Felix's little buddy Luka (on the left in green).
Liam's Mummy made a delicious cake too.
What a shame we missed the celebrations and also that fabulous cake!!
Nevertheless Felix, Daddy and Mummy wanted to be sure to send Liam a special birthday wish from Paris ...
