Park whispers.

This morning Felix and Mummy set off for Parc Montsouris to have a nice morning run around outdoors.

Felix, of course, was all rugged up and Mummy had made a packaged lunch of cheese & vegemite sandwiches. It's nice to have lunch outdoors - even in winter sometimes.

Felix and Mummy listened to the whispers coming from a new contemporary art installation, which starts when people sit on the park benches.

Felix found it most intriguing as the whispers were special love messages in lots of different languages.

And of course like most two year olds, the morning ended in tears when it was time to leave the park and go home again for a nice long afternoon nap.

Cruel Mummy for taking a photo, but it really was such a funny sight. Don't you think?

In Bon Papa's days it was "Marmite"... still, very good, "good for you" as they used to say...well those were the days... Granny Carol must remember... and there were coupons for Marmite ?
Good Old England !
In Vence, these days it is "une galette des Rois" for Epiphany...
Bon Papa treated himself to a galette from Madame Palenque, where Felix had his croissants, and Bon Papa is still digesting his galette ! Mais SI !

PS. Aunty Marie Brigitte von Saenger thinks that Felix is the cutest little boy she would drream to have as a grand son...

Oh life's SO TOUGH when you're a two year old.

ESPECIALLY when your Mummy digitally documents it!

that is the best photo - thanks mummy and Felix for sharing the tears along with the joy.

What happened to the tram?

Aunty Kim...
We heard that the tram does not work as it was scheduled to... Better have a galette des rois !

Paige has a tendency to do the same thing at the end of a gruelling park excursion! Ah, the joys of the tremendous twos ;)
Maybe they can scream together at a park in Paris :)

I had wondered about those talking seats, but never took the time to sit down and listen to them.
