Hello 2007.
Felix celebrated New Year's Eve with Mummy and Daddy with their friends who live a few doors up the street. It was a little gathering of about 20 people (half of which were under 10).
Including Felix's best friend Iris, who he also happens to have a bit of a crush on - do you blame him?
Felix also had great fun with Iris's older sister during the meal (whilst the parents enjoyed the french champagne and nibblies).
And of course no New Year celebration would be complete without a surprise birthday cake for Daddy ...
With all 'les enfants' singing a lovely version of Happy Birthday (funnily enough in english as is the tradition in France).
All-in-all a great night with a certain young toddler staying up for the arrival of the New Year and finally getting to sleep about 1am* (Eeek).
Little party animal!
*But luckily he did sleep in until 10am the next morning.

Now... there has been a lot of talk about a certain Iris lately... she must be delightful. However, could Mummy or Daddy, elaborate on this interesting development ... ???
Yes Iris is Felix's first CRUSH and he is VERY smitten with her. And understandably so as she is very very sweet.
They go to the same garderie and Iris's Maman and Felix's Mummy are very good friends so they get to play together a few times each week.
It is incredibly sweet as they can't help cuddling each other ALL THE TIME and run around like crazy cookies.

Happy New Year Felix! Looks like you had a wonderful night. I'm impressed you saw the new year in...you did better than we did! Luka was in bed by 7.30 and Maman was in bed by 9.30. Oh well, there's always next year.
