Marais Par-tay!
On Sunday afternoon we went to a par-tay in the Marais to celebrate Tennysee's 4th Birthday.
There was a musical theme to the party and so all the little ones enjoyed being part of their own orchestra.
They all had great fun paying the different musical instruments and creating a very special birthday symphony. Mozart would have been proud!
Like every good birthday party there were plenty of 'Bon-Bons'.
Like every good party in the Marais there were plenty of lollypops and fairies!
Needless to say it was sugar overdrive!
Especially when Felix and his little friend Paris endulged.
Mummy and Daddy think Felix came down hard on the way home!

Oh Dear ... is there a way to avoid all that sugar at a little ones party?
I hope the come down wasn't too severe little Felix!
"Tenessee" ... I've met two "Kenya's" in the last week. Both girls.
It's ok, we lit some candles; put on our favourite Cafe Del Mar CDs and threw all the softest pillows into his cot... ;-)
Aunty Kendall, I was thinking exactly the same thing. But I also thought...if Sarah can't avoid it then I KNOW I won't be able to. I guess if it is once in a while...it's ok. Gulp.
And after all ladies it was a 4th birthday party (bit different from a 1st or 2nd bday party).
It was pretty unbelieveable actually, you should have seen the kids swarm for the Bon Bons.
Felix eneded up having a huge 'sugar enduced' tantrum as we wouldn't let him have another macaroon (he'd already had about 7!). Tears and all!!
But I figure it didn't kill us when we were little so it won't kill our little pets once in a while either!!
Bisous.
Paris (2 years) was very impressed to received his new friend "él lix" and he sometimes mentionnes "él lix -(l)à bas" which means he thinks about his friend who is somewhere.
Felix was great and got into the party although it is not easy to join the odlers ...
I noticed on the pictures he finished like Paris with 2 lollipops..as a victory
For sure we'll do that again next year
nb : this was tennessy's party
