Le sapin.

Mummy couldn't help herself last night and bought a special no-needle-dropping xmas tree. Whilst pushing it home in the stroller Mummy and Felix were met with many smiles, especially with Felix walking proudly holding on to the 'sapin'.

Upon arriving home, both Felix and Mummy were very pleased with the lovely green tree and how full it was. They hung a few decorations together and then Mummy finished off the tree after Felix went to bed (with some nice jazz and a lovely glass of red).

This morning when Felix woke up Mummy turned the lights on and Felix had his first look at the tree, the baubles and the decorations, including parachuting santas.

Of course he was suitably impressed and was very interested in the baubles and their reflections (we'll see how many he will break this year!).

So it certainly is starting to feel a bit more like christmas chez nous.

We can't wait to see Daddy's face when he comes back from London on Saturday afternoon. Ho ho ho...

Felix, sadly we won't be getting a Christmas tree this year. With all of Luka's 'stuff' in the loungeroom I'm not quite sure where we'd put it. Main reason is though - we know the little hands that would tug on it and pull it over. Alas, Maman wrapped the gifts last night and sat them ontop of the TV cabinet away from little hands. Next year will be better...
