Uh-oh!

Mummy and Felix were having a chilled morning the other day sorting out all the winter clothes (yes I know, domestic bliss) when Felix let out an 'uh-oh' from the other side of the closed bathroom door.

Mummy just presumed that perhaps the light wasn't on and he couldn't find the handle. Felix repeated his "Uh-oh". And in fact Felix had locked himself in the bathroom. "Uh-oh" repeated Mummy as panic went through her mind on how to get him out. Stay calm a little voice said.

Mummy had a fiddle from the outside but couldn't get the door open. "Felix, why don't you turn the latch darling?", knowing full well he had no idea what a latch was. Mummy's heart was beating very fast as she imagined her little sausage in a pitch black room, all day. Mummy's only solution was to call Daddy and see if he could offer some advice or come home to help get Felix out.

But luckily as Mummy went to get the phone she heard a little voice behind her say "Zee-zix" with that expression that means 'Felix did it Mummy!' and sure enough she turned around and there he was. Cheeky little monkey had managed to open the latch and let himself out. Thankfully!

Mummy rejoice ! your little son is a genius ! Picture him (and you, on the other side) behind the door and missing his mid morning snack ?

Yes I envisaged him missing the mid morning snack, the lunchtime meal and dinner time too.

And all in the dark too. Oh how creative our minds can get!!

Mummy... let's have a positive approach ! Looking at the photos, Felix does not seem too perturbed ? He looks like a cat that would have wolloped a whole bowl of triple King Island cream...
