Little soldiers & egg.

Daddy was on dinner duty tonight and thought it was about time Felix had some little soldiers with soft gooey egg. Felix was pretty pleased when he realised it was a hands on dinner and promptly started dipping his soldiers into his egg.

Unlike most other little people Felix hasn't had a huge amount of eggs in his time as he had baby eczema and had to avoid them to prevent any allergies from developing.

But it seemed he made up for lost time and really enjoyed the little soldiers and the gooey mess they made. Perhaps Daddy (and the soldiers) will have to be on dinner duty more often!!

Mummy should read Felix (this, thus, applies to the story in the next episode of Felix's life) the book of nursery rhymes Bon Papa gave him. An antique ! It was his (Bon papa that is!) when he was a toddler.
"Tinker, tailor, soldier, sailor..." Why has Daddy jumped to the soldier by-passing the tinker and the tailor ?
Wait until you get to the sailor bit

The southern border toast garrison is amassed by the toaster awaiting deployment Ma'am.

Just give the word and I'll prep them for gooey egg yoke battle.

Bon Papa's feeble understanding of Daddy's wit requires some clarification...
In other words : what the hell is Daddy talking about ?

Mummy's with Bon Papa as she is confused why there seems to be a pirate in our midst?

Has Daddy been drinking at lunchtime again?

Sigh, a genius is never understood in his day...

The little bits of bread in felix's dinner are called soldiers... a group of soldiers is called a garrision. I was being the general of the soldier army and telling you Ma'am, that your army was ready for dinner time battle with the evil gooey, soft boiled egg empire.

Felix would've understood. Or at least laughed sympathetically.
