Boys, overalls & their cars.
Felix is certainly asserting his will at the moment and it seems the only thing he will wear are his overalls from Bon Papa.
All other pants are strictly 'off limits' (as Daddy found out last night at bathtime when Felix burst into tears, followed by a hysterical tantrum when he had to put his pajama pants on). We are bracing ourselves as the terrible twos seem to be lingering in the road ahead. Sigh.
But in the meantime to avoid the battles Felix simply wears the overalls most days. This afternoon Felix decided he simply didn't want to go to the park and instead wanted to play cars (& trucks) chez nous.
Of course there were the normal sounds effects when Felix plays with his cars...."broooooommmmmm, broooooommmmmm...
...broooooommmmmm, broooooommmmmm...
Brooooooommmmm". Even the firetruck was making noises ...
Luckily Mummy was a fan of playing cars when she was a little girl too, so after she put down the camera she got in on the action too.

Hopefully he'll continue to develop his taste in clothes and not stay rooted in this overall phase.
But with cars and ovealls my dreams of him being an attacking midfielder are quickly fading. At least I can hope he watches the football from the garage TV while he's fine tuning all the cars...
There is nothing wrong with an "overall phase"...provided it leads to supporting the Nice "Aiglons" when the time comes !
Felix, I think your overalls are quite fetching and I understand you want to wear them all the time! I can't wait 'til you come and visit and I can play trucks with you.
