Outdoor chez nous.

It was a rather hot 31 degrees in Paris this afternoon so Felix decided to take his toys outside for a play in the zen garden - mainly the Disney truck, Wheeley Bug and the Tricycle.

He was quite content to have a play (or ride) whilst Mummy entertained herself indoors with the fun householdy stuff.

Although every now and then he would 'beep' the horn just to make sure Mummy still knew he was there.

He's rather dashing with his big belly isn't he!!

hmmmn sorry about the typo Felix, that's just a teeny tiny bit of rasberry cordial effect

Whoops technical glitch as this comment was meant for the toothbrushing post...

...or actually why don't we blame Aunty Kim's rasberry cordial ... or a 'diable' as they call it here ... a devil!!

Glad to see it runs in the family - both sides!!

MMMMmmmm....Maybe that's why Felix's tummy is so big!

Fekix' tummy is NOT big, just "un peu enveloppé". - like Obelix in the French cartoon !
Rasberry cordial (one of the "Two Fat Ladies" favorites, by the way...) is an excellent way to finish ot start a meal. Does Mummy remember the "Peach cardinals" I used to prepare for our weekly dinners in Sydney, reeking of rasberries (and peaches too!) ?

Peach Cardinals yum ... correct me if I am wrong Bon Papa, aren't they peaches poached in a vanilla sauce with a raspberry purée.

Is that how it goes?

Mmmm ... delicious!

And funnily Felix is quite partial to peaches too!!

Mummy is correct (as always!) a poached peach with rapsberry purée... It is called "Cardinal" because of the redness of the concoction. And, on top, one puts a leaf of basil in memory of Basil, cardinal Hume, the archbishop (roman catholic that is) of London...
It is the season, Mummy should try, it's very easy peezy japoneesee to prepare !

Wow the things you learn when you log onto chezfelix and plan to contribute a funny comment about a (nearly) 2yr olds bulging belly! I now feel quite inadequate .. although I must admit I'm very happy to have FINALLY said HELLOooooooo via this blog. Dave is looking over my shoulder saying "Is that Felix's blog? When are we going to do ours.. I really want to do ours ..." Yeah Dave, love the enthusiasm, where's the action!

Aunty Ashie has just had a look at the blown up version of Felix's georgeous tummy and I LOVED it. There's no need to hold it in my boy - let it all hang out! Come to think of it - maybe that can be the next photo shoot for chezluka! We just might need some warmer weather in Sydney like a balmy 31 degrees....

Aunty Ash I am sure those 30+ degree days are just round the corner!

Lucky you guys!! We have hats, gloves and scarves ahead....brrrrr!!!
