Daddy's Day with Daddy M.

A special post from Daddy M...

Poor little kid, with parents like us he's going to be forced to celebrate 4 parent days. Two Australian ones and two French ones. That's 4 breakfasts in bed, as soon as he's old enough to go up to the boulangerie by himself, and as soon as Daddy teaches him how to froth the milk on the coffee machine.

The thing is since yesterday was one of the Australian Father's Day we didn't realise until a kindly soul texted us to remind us (pank yoo Daniel Bebin).

But we made up for it by having an impromptu outing to Meaux, little town in the heart of Brie country.
We picked up a marvellous Brie Fermier (homemade Brie, more delicious and more creamy than the ones you get in Paris, and definitely more tasty than the double cream King Island stuff).

Felix spent the day on Daddy's shoulders - bouncing up and down and pulling Daddy's hair.

But in perfect son style he gave his Daddy lots of wonderfully sloppy and looooong bisous.

And to Mummy's delight he manage to sneak a loooong cuddle with Mummy too.

Daddy is now looking into Iranian, Senegalese and Russian nationality - apparently they all celebrate their Father's Day on different days...

With love from Daddy M.

Bon Papa understand the pleasure of havibg breakfast in bed, but he is somewhat puzzled at Daddy's craving for new nationalites... Russian seems appropriate (as we have some Polish - of the best stock ! - ancestry. However, Bon Papa would have some reservations about Senegalese (would Daddy like to be "un sans papiers" ?) or Iranian, unless Daddy has become a closet Mahometan ?

It's all about the perks of additional Father's Days Bon Papa.

And please note here at Chez Felix we DO encourage multi-culturalism - Russian, Iranian AND Senagalese.

Especially as Mummy and Daddy have friends from each of those countries.

Oh, nothing against multiculturalism, Bon Papa was just thinking of hypothetical problems created by the likes of Bush (and Blair for that matter)...
Better be reassured !

A last (tearful note, sniff...) from Bon Papa (sniff, sob...) who would like to mention in passing that he is also an Australian citizen and it is only a charming sihouette from down under who remembered that Bon papa is also a "Papa" (that is translated and usely written as Daddy in English...) :-((((

Felix, I love these photos of your Daddy's day. We had a nice day here too. My Daddy had a sleep in (at his request) and then we had a nice breakfast. We didn't do much the rest of the day but I gave him lots of cuddles too....
