Zee-Zeat.

Felix is quite a difficult name to get your mouth around and that sure is the case for a little 20 month old toddler. Recently Felix has started saying his name. Only thing is it sounds more like 'Zee-Zeat' than Felix. (One could point out that it has a remarkable likeness to his favourite football star ZZ, who has only fallen a little notch since the head butting incident). Nevertheless it is a start.

Zee-Zeat also has taken quite a fondness to studying his reflection in the hall floor-to-roof mirrors. He pulls different faces and studies his expressions. From what I have read (yes many many books) this is quite a normal phase.

As is the phase of repeating all his favourite words before bedtime, whilst he is trying to get to sleep. More often than not at the moment it is Nan-ny, Pap-py, Dad-dy & Mum-my. Definitely the words of the week!!!

What a great blog! We've got two little darlings and our older daughter calls our son Felix - "liss". She's still working on the Fe bit.

Don't worry though, I'm sure your angel will get the hang of his own name soon enough.

Actually Felix is still partial to calling himself Zee-Zeat.

He can actually make all the right sounds but think he is now just used to saying it this way.

Mummy thinks it's kinda cute anyway!
