Australia Zoo.

Nanny and Bappie live about a 10 minute drive to Australia Zoo and this was high on Felix's to do list. And it certainly didn't dissapoint.

Within five minutes of arriving Felix was lucky enough to pat a baby aligator.

Next stop was the Kidz Zoo and feeding the baby animals.

All of whom were just gorgeous.
Felix was very excited to be so close to baby goats, lambs and calves.

Then it was of to the Crocoseum to see the animal show...

and of course to see the crocs before we settled into a picnic lunch.

In the afternoon we caught a train to see the tigers (Felix's favourite)...

and we happened to see the elephants going for an afternoon stroll.

The tigers didn't disappoint .... even putting on a show for us visitors.

And finally the highlight Felix met his first Kangaroos. And even fed them.

And when we left that evening we agreed with Steve Irwin that 'Crikey it was a big day!'

Afternoons swims in the dam.

Nanny and Bappie live right on a beautiful dam, which is really handy on a hot Queensland day.

So this afternoon Felix, Mummy and Daddy went with Nanny, Bappie and Aunty Caitlin...

for a lovely afternoon dip in the dam.

Felix had great fun doing jumps in the water with Nanny and Daddy and loved splashing around in the water.

And the best thing afterwards was getting all nice and rugged up toasty warm.

Party at Mooloolah Valley.

Today Nanny and Bappie threw Felix a party with some family and some of their friends.

Felix met Daddy and Caitlin's cousin Sarah Cozzi and Glen and he had a great time playing and socialising with everyone. (His sagitarius colours shinning through brightly once again.)

Nanny had a lovely surprise birthday cake for Bappie who turns 70 next month. Needless to say Felix was very interested in the delicious gâteau.

The party wound down after a fun game of footy by the dam and later we all crawled into bed with a very light dinner.

Thanks for the great party Nanny and Bappie!

Beach side pools.

Queensland sure do know how to do beach side pools.

And the best one we have seen is the recently opened pool at Caloundra.

Felix, Daddy & Mummy had great fun splashing about in the salty sea water.

And what a gorgeous day it was.

And a certain little toddler had great fun too.

Thanks for putting on the weather Queensland!

Hello Queensland!

So after 1.5 hours in the plane Felix, Mummy and Daddy made it to tropical Queensland to spend 10 days with Nanny, Bappie and Aunty Caitlin. Needless to say Felix was pretty excited to see the Queensland connection.

Bye Bye Sydney!

After a fabulous 5 weeks in Sydney it was time to bid our farewells to Sydney and head up north for 10 more days of sunshine. Felix was excited to be catching a plane although seemed to be somewhat sad to be saying bye to everyone who helped him to have such a great time in Sydney.

See you soon everyone! And of course Bisous to all!

Happy Birthday Aunty Ash!

Today was Aunty Ash's birthday so Felix and Mummy joined Ash and Luka for a lovely late breakfast at Kawa cafe (just underneath Nanna Carole's place). The boys had a great time enjoying their Babycinos whilst the Mummy's enjoyed the sunny morning.

Happy Birthday Aunty Ash!

North Bondi Pool.

What trip to Sydney would be complete without lots of visits to Bondi Beach.

At the north end of the beach is a gorgeous little kiddie pool where Felix enjoyed many afternoon swims and good old Australian sunshine.

The last day we were at Bondi Beach, Felix was lucky enough to catch a prawn in his bucket who frantically swam around everywhere in the yellow bucket.

It was a gorgeous afternoon and we all made the most of enjoying Bondi Beach for the last time for a while.

What a great way to finish our hols in Sydney!

Rushcutters.

Being our last weekend in Sydney today Felix, Mummy & Daddy had a lovely picnic at Rushcutters Bay.

Luka, Lyla and Paige and their folks came as did the Sydney Grannies.

Felix had great fun playing ball with the Daddies...

Succumbed to some posing with the Mummies (who have been best of friends for 20-ish years).

And had great fun walking walls with Paige and Nanna Carole.

Needless to say after all the fun Felix fell asleep on the way back home. Phew what a day!

Leigh, Amanda and Liam.

Saturday morning (a typically stunning Sydney day) we met up with Leigh, Amanda and Liam for morning coffees and a play at Centenniel Park.

The boys had great fun exploring the park (and the double dipper slide) whilst the folks enjoyed their coffees and chats.

The little boys even had their very own Babycinos to give them an injection of energy.

We all had such a lovely morning together (including the boys).

And we certainly weren't the only Sydney-siders with the same idea!

Nevertheless noone seemed to mind the crowds (somewhat reminiscent of Paris anyway)!

Felix's Vice.

Felix is getting very accustomed Sydney's coffee scene and each day we frequent Pablo's Vice so he can have his Baby-cino fix (a mini cappacino without the coffee).

Of course Daddy has his Machiatto and Mummy has her Chai Latte so everyone is happy.
Felix likes to make sure he gets every last drop!
