Little black cats.

One afternoon this week Mummy decided to take some inspiration from young Paige and turn Felix into a Pussy Cat.

Felix was a little surprised to see a little black cat complete with whiskers, black nose and little pointy ears in the mirror.

But it didn't take him long to warm up to the idea.

Meow!

Abbesses.

Yesterday was Daddy's last day of holidays so we had a family outing to Abbesses where Felix had some fun on the carousel.

And of course one ride turned into two...

Which turned into three...

And then arm-in-arm with little Babar we set off for Daddy's favourite clothes shop to do some well deserved shopping for Mummy and Daddy.

Clowning around.

Like any other toddler Felix just loves to play with Playdoh. And for his birthday one of his presents was a special Playdoh Clown.

Only thing is you have to push really hard to get the hair to come out. It's almost too hard for Mummy and Daddy, so I am not quite sure how they expect 3 year olds to do it?

Nevertheless this doesn't phase Felix who quite keenly says "Push Mummy!"

Whatever keep him happy I guess, and given that it is only minus 1 degree outside, the main thing is we are all toasty warm indoors!

No Tram!

There has been much hype in Paris about the new tram that started last weekend. And so Mummy and Felix decided they would catch it Monday afternoon.

With impeccable timing, Mummy and Felix just missed the tram and had to wait for the next one.

We waited, and waited, and waited. And still no tram. Finally we learnt that the tram had an accident and thus was delayed indefinitely. How do you explain that to an excited 2 year old?

So instead Mummy gave up the idea of waiting and instead we explored the streets on the way back home.

It was a very chilly afternoon but Felix was nicely rugged up.
And luckily Mummy and Felix just made it home before the darkness set in at 5pm!! Brrrr...

We'll have to try the tram another day!

Monkey business.

For his birthday Felix received a crazy Monkey towel from his Uncle Dunc & Aunty Sophie.

Monkey keeps Felix nice and warm after his bath and tonight Felix had great fun running everywhere in the apartment to the amusement of Mummy and Daddy.

Felix particularly liked the tunnels that Daddy made for the Monkey to run under.

The little Monkey was getting to some pretty high speeds running around the table with lots of giggling and laughter.

Mummy has a suspicion that this is fast going to become part of the nightly ritual routine chez nous.

Cheeky little monkey indeed!

Marais Par-tay!

On Sunday afternoon we went to a par-tay in the Marais to celebrate Tennysee's 4th Birthday.

There was a musical theme to the party and so all the little ones enjoyed being part of their own orchestra.

They all had great fun paying the different musical instruments and creating a very special birthday symphony. Mozart would have been proud!

Like every good birthday party there were plenty of 'Bon-Bons'.

Like every good party in the Marais there were plenty of lollypops and fairies!

Needless to say it was sugar overdrive!

Especially when Felix and his little friend Paris endulged.

Mummy and Daddy think Felix came down hard on the way home!

Lunch with Margot!

On Sunday afternoon we went to visit the gorgeous Margot and her parents, Cecelia and Bernard, for a delicious lunch.

Felix was quite taken by Margot's little tent full of lots of fun toys, not to mention the beautiful Margot herself. Funnily enough Mummy couldn't keep away either...

After lunch Felix enjoyed his first piano experience.

Not only did he have a little tinker but Cecelia played for Felix much to his delight.

Felix was captivated by the whole piano experience and Mummy and Daddy both agreed that he seemed to have quite a good little tune or two going (not that they are biased of course!).

I wonder if Santa can deliver pianos?

Blue Red and Green Doh.

The other day Felix discoverered that there are lots of different playdoh colours not just purple. There is also Blue, Green,& Red (amongst others tucked away in his toybox).

He had great fun rolling lots of really long wiggly worms (with some help from Mummy).

Although he couldn't quite manouevre getting them back together again.

Nevertheless he did have fun though, although seemed rather unimpressed by Mummy helping him to spell out his name.

I guess he is a few more years away from reading yet.

Four in the bed.

At playgroup yesterday Felix and Ben decided that they wanted to play in Ben's bed and have some fun. Pretty quickly Freja and Max joined them too!

Little Jonah was having some fun too from the outside looking on enviously at the big kids.

With four in the bed you can imagine there was lots of jumping and laughter.

Amazingly enough the bed stayed in one piece (?!#?), to Ben's Mummy's delight.

After all the excitement Max found it nice just to sit down and have a little repose.

Trucks and little boys.

Little boys just LOVE their trucks.

And Felix certainly is obessed with anything with wheels at the moment. He loves zipping around the kitchen on his little truck and he can get to some pretty high speeds too.

This week Felix introduced Leonardo to the world of tricycles. Leonardo took to it like a fish to water (or a lion to trike). With just a little bit of help from Felix along the way.

Cheeky little monkeys ...

Ooops Felix, you'd better look out for those chairs!
