Four in the bed.

At playgroup yesterday Felix and Ben decided that they wanted to play in Ben's bed and have some fun. Pretty quickly Freja and Max joined them too!

Little Jonah was having some fun too from the outside looking on enviously at the big kids.

With four in the bed you can imagine there was lots of jumping and laughter.

Amazingly enough the bed stayed in one piece (?!#?), to Ben's Mummy's delight.

After all the excitement Max found it nice just to sit down and have a little repose.

Playgroup.

Tuesday is playgroup day and so in the afternoon Mummy and Felix set off for the very chilly park to play with Felix's little friends, Amelia, Oscar, Alice and little Vasco (Oscar's 4 month old brother who slept through the whole afternoon).

All the toddlers had great fun sitting in the little cubby house discussing the various issues facing toddlers today in Paris. Alice was super toasty warm in her little Michelin man snow suit and gorgeous bonnet
.

Then it was time for some climbing up the ropes and racing up and down the slide. Nothing like exerting some energy to warm up.

After all the excitement the Mummies were super cold so we set off for a chocolat chaud at the Bon Marché to warm us up.

Mummy is a bit worried how to keep warm at the park during winter. Maybe a flask of chai tea? Hmmm ...

Ben's Party.

Today Felix went to Ben's 2nd birthday party. Ben turned the big T-W-O on September 25th, two days before Felix's Sydney Grandma Carol's birthday. It was great to get the little ones together as they have been socialising in the same playgroup since Felix was about 4 months old (Jasmine, Ben, Stuart, Olivia and Felix).

Felix was very excited en route and insisted on carrying the present all the way to Ben's house. Although wasn't so keen to hand it over when we arrived, until the chocolate biscuits & sultanas arrived of course.

Ben's Mummy made a fabulous chocolate bear cake which was delicious and Felix suitably 'pigged out' on gateaux, biscuits and sultanas for most of the afternoon and was not-at-all interested in dinner later on.

At one stage at the party, Mummy discovered Felix and Ben in Ben's room and the birthday boy was reading Felix a story. It was very cute. (And in French Bon Papa!)

Oh to be young again! And Happy Birthday Ben!!

Playgroup at Rodin.

Yesterday Felix and Mummy went to our weekly toddler playgroup in the garden of the Rodin Museum, to celebrate Amelia's 2nd birthday party - a fellow 'frogssie' (french-aussie).

The sun was shinning and the little-uns were having a great time playing in the sand with the buckets and balloons (yes that is the twins again with their cousin Raffi).

The older girls (2+) were leading the way, running all over the place and trying to rustle up those perfectly groomed hedges (the birthday girl Amelia, is in the pink pants).

It was a great way to pass a summer afternoon.

Pool Party.

Nothing beats a hot summer Parisian day better than enjoying a pool party with the girls. And that is exactly what Felix did this 30 something degree afternoon.

Felix had great fun with Max, Freja, Lucy and then Alex dropped in too for some fun towards the end of the afternoon.

What a fun way to enjoy a playgroup!
